The symptoms and diagnosis section is a description of the illness and how the patient is affected.
The preventative measures section has some practical ways of preventing the recurrence of the problem, while the non-prescription treatments section recommends some of the over-the-counter medicines to treat the complaint and some practical ways of dealing with the problem.
All of the medicinal products listed are currently available in Irish pharmacies.
Where possible, usage instructions are stated, but make sure to read the label and patient information leaflet before taking the medicine, to ensure that the medicine is suitable for you.
